When we look up with internet marketing or just look online for information. You've heard abut Google algorithms. But, have you ever questioned what they are, exactly?

Google has a very complexity in serving search results, and it changes relatively & frequently. To get out from that complex situation Google algorithms were introduced. This Google algorithm increases the speed, relative and aggressive information in fetching web pages in search engine results.

1. Google Humming Bird Algorithm


Google Humming Bird Algorithm is the name of Google's new search platform is using from September 2013, rather than focusing on a single word, this Algorithm will focus on complete sentence/conversation/meaning. The goal is to do better page matches rather than pages matching just a few words.

2. Google Mobile-Friendly Update

Google Mobile-Friendly update is launched on April 21, 2015. This is designed to give a boost to mobile friendly pages in google's mobile search result. It has alternate names which are Mobilegeddon, Mobilepocalyse, Mopocalypse or Mobocalypse.

3. Google Panda Update


Google's Panda Update is a search filter introduced in February 2011. This is a search filter, meant to stop sites with poor quality content from working their way into google's top search results.

4. Google Penguin Update


Google Penguin Update is launched in April 2012 better catching in spamming sites. When a new penguin update is released sites that have taken action to removed bad links. For removing bad links we use Google Disavow links tool. 

5. Google Pigeon Update


Google Pigeon Update is launched on July 24, 2014, this is a new algorithm to provide more useful, relevant and accurate local search results that are tied more closely to traditional web ranking signals. In this new algorithm improves their distance & location ranking parameters.

6. Google Payday Update


Google Payday Update is launched on June 11, 2013. This algorithm targeted at cleaning up search results for traditionally "Spamming Queries" such as 18+ content related and other heavily spammed queries.

7. Google Pirate Update

Pirate Update is a filter introduced in August 2012 designed to prevent sites with many copyrights infringement reports.

8. Google Exact Match Domain (EMD) Update

This EMD update is a filter Google launched in September 2012 to prevent poor quality sites from search engine results page for better ranking.

9. Google Heavy Update

This Google Heavy Update was launched in January 2012. This update prevents sites that were "top heavy" with ads from ranking well in its listings. When a top heavy update happens, sites that have removed excessive ads may regain lost rankings. New sites deemed too "top heavy" may get caught.
